I am a firm believer that we can't feel fully beautiful or satisfied with an outfit if we don't have that glow, radiance in our skin to top it off. No matter how great you look, if our skincare doesn't match that flawless style, than it will feel like something is missing.
Before anything else, we should have our skincare routine as a priority.
I am so happy to be trying out all these new goodies and this one just jumped in to my family of skincare products (they just seem to be growing as so does my age :)
Eye area is the first to show sign of aging and it's sensitivity should be taken as a special need and care; products to focus on this area and I am hoping this one will start doing it's job as to reveal a more radiant and younger eye contour and to smooth, minimize eye bags and dark circles.
Isn't this a miracle? :) Well, let them explain better....

I was never one to go beyond my safe zone when it comes to lip color. I thought I looked ridiculous in a bright "in your face" lip. So obviously I would always turn to my never-disappointing gloss or nudes. I don't know if it's the trends lately (most likely) or a change of mind, but I am having so much fun this year with these matte bright lipsticks from Wet n Wild. I chose this brand because I was too afraid on spending tons of money in something that I probably didn't like seeing myself in, but these do perfectly it's job and didn't disappoint at all, and the price factor is a plus (very cheap). And I think I don't look that bad after all... 

Now for nails, you can never go wrong with bright colors. It matches everybody's skin tone and it's a great complement for any outfit. I gathered the colors that I wear most often in the summer in a little bowl.

I am wearing now "I need a refresh-mint" from guess who? Yep, Wet n Wild again... It has just conquered my heart and wallet and I think it's a great price and valued item. Megalast are so easy to apply and it has a great finish.

DIY Tinted moisturizer

It's summer and you don't want to go heavy on your makeup, especially with the foundation. As you may know, foundation should be switched in the summer since your skin tone will be different with that little extra color from the sun but please never forget to use sunscreen or moisturizers with spf. 

If you don't want to switch foundation than this might be the solution when it's color is a bit too dark for the day then it'll feel sheerer on the skin. 

This is a really easy simple trick in case you don't have tinted moisturizer but if you want that little color and evenness to your skin without having a foundation melt-down or plastery skin, mix your foundation with your daily moisturizer. You will be hydrated and look natural!

You can make the mix on your hand by adding first the moisturizer and then the liquid foundation (just a little for the color). Apply it on your face and voila, you have that nice fresh even colored skin and perfect for summer. Supper quick and easy plus the moisturizer will help the foundation look more natural and creamy. Don't forget to use oil-free foundation. 

Not only can this be used anytime during the year, but also saves you a bunch of time in the morning, getting ready for your busy day.

Beach Bag Ready?

The summer is almost here, and the beach is calling! For any woman that cares for their image, they won't despise their look at the beach. Either at the lake, or the park, or wherever you need to have a beach bag handy to get you through the day, check these essentials to keep you looking fabulous, but not overdone and yet, still looking flawless.

Here are my favorites:

a. A gorgeous swimsuit is mandatory. For those that want to show more skin, and a good breast support, this Mara Hoffman bikini is absolutey amazing. Prints are a must and this has the perfect embroidered exotic style and removable straps. Seen here.

b. The wide brim of a '70s-glam straw hat protects your face and from the sun and looks very sexy. This floppy hat could be an option.

d. Carry everything in style and forget about the leather bag. A straw tote bag is perfect for the beach. Try this one from J Crew.

e. This might be the most essential pick for your bag! Skin protection! Swap your superthick formulas for a light, but superbly effective, sunscreen. This one from Kiehl's does the job perfectly.

f. Keep you lips covered and protected with a nice tinted lip from Burt's Bee's.

g. You should avoid wearing makeup at the beach, but a little boost to your eyes give you the glam look. Always go for a waterproof mascara to avoid smudged dark eyes. Try this one from Covergirl - LashBlast Volume Mega Volume Waterproof.

h. The best hairstyle for the summer? Natural beach waves. For a little assistance creating perfectly relaxed ripples, spritz hair with Fekkai Marine Summer Hair Beach Waves and scrunch with your fingers.

i. To keep everything organized in your bag, keep your personal belongings or cosmetics in this cute pouch bag.

j. Oversize frames like these from Tom Ford aren't merely stylish—they also keep the delicate skin around your eyes protected from aging UV rays.

k. Forget the big, heavy beach towel. Go for a light and easy to pack scarf or pareo. Not only let's you lay on it but covers you in a cooler after day from the beach or you can just wear it as a skirt.

Orange Lips

Sephora has a great exclusive collection for this look of the moment.

 

AND:

• It's a very diverse color that works on any skin tone;
• If you have blue eyes, it will help them stand out since orange is a polar opposite of blue, making eyes appear brighter;
• Keep your eyes minimal when using a solid dramatic color on your lips;
• If you think, this is still a strong statement for you, take baby steps and choose a gloss instead, in the same shade. It's much less vibrant and a lot more wearable than a heavily pigmented lipstick.
