I was never one to go beyond my safe zone when it comes to lip color. I thought I looked ridiculous in a bright "in your face" lip. So obviously I would always turn to my never-disappointing gloss or nudes. I don't know if it's the trends lately (most likely) or a change of mind, but I am having so much fun this year with these matte bright lipsticks from Wet n Wild. I chose this brand because I was too afraid on spending tons of money in something that I probably didn't like seeing myself in, but these do perfectly it's job and didn't disappoint at all, and the price factor is a plus (very cheap). And I think I don't look that bad after all... 

Now for nails, you can never go wrong with bright colors. It matches everybody's skin tone and it's a great complement for any outfit. I gathered the colors that I wear most often in the summer in a little bowl.

I am wearing now "I need a refresh-mint" from guess who? Yep, Wet n Wild again... It has just conquered my heart and wallet and I think it's a great price and valued item. Megalast are so easy to apply and it has a great finish.

Espadrille Havaianas

The Havaianas are very known for their amazing flip-flops and you can’t find any better – I promise! As a legitimate fan I would bring a couple of flips every time I went to Brazil on work or vacation. I have tons and they are truly comfortable and last forever!!

I Love how this summer they came up with something new and brought the espadrille back!

J Crew Fall 2011

I haven't had the chance to wear any spring clothes this year since it's still pretty much cold around where I live. I can't wait for the warm weather to come... 

Fashion doesn't wait and it's always ahead and Fall's collection are popping out!

I am loving the J Crew fall collection with it's tailored pieces and pop of color! Gorgeous bold hues, mid-length to long flowing skirts, wide pants, pleated dresses, stripes... an extension from the springs trend? 

Love it!

In the mood for candy...

...but for a nice sweet one that doesn't harm your teeth, nor your health. Well maybe your wallet but it's for a good cause! How could you not resist these colors? I can picture them in many outfits...

Furla Candy Bags are the sweets for this Spring. Their shape is structured but yet has that mix of funky colors making them wearable for any occasion.

The solid colors and the classic shape makes it timeless and easy to go with most ensembles. I love the colors, the material and especially that slightly transparency turning it to a fun item but doesn't give away all the content. 

I am so tempted to get one. They are almost sold out everywhere but you can still find them here.

The big decision is, in which color?? They all look so great... which one you'd you pick??

HOH 1960

House of Harlow 1960 is a jewelry line of Nicole Richie. I love it and I think it's so elegant and chic and has that cross of tribal/ethnic in a sophisticated way.

It will stand out paired with a solid color dress and I chose the gorgeous cobalt blue ASOS 70's Pleat Sleeve Kaftan Dress. It has an amazing color and blue combined with black - in this case, hints of color from the jewelry - is a hot trend this season.
